HISTORY

Forwarding cargo is an activity that ensures the link between the client and the shipping / airline company. It started tens of years ago and has always made things easier for the client whose main purpose is buying, selling or shipping goods from and to any destination in the world. Numerous forwarders are nowadays competing in the freight market, but few are the ones who have reached the world with a distinguished reputation as well as an intensive and exhaustive activity.

Born in July 1996, DAS EXPRESS was one of the leading freight forwarding companies based in Lebanon, competing with both local and international forwarders. DAS has witnessed a quick and tremendous growth, particularly during the millenium’s past few years and, in order to strengthen its development and push its ambitions farther, it joined, in 2002, the IFLN (International Freight and Logistics Network), an international freight organization with 260 offices spread in 90 different countries all over the world and with constantly increasing members.

In April 2005, DAS EXPRESS was taken over by AIRLINK INTERNATIONAL UAE, one of the largest freight forwarding companies in the Middle East with offices located in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar. Keeping pace with the economic developments in Dubai, AIRLINK has built a strong foundation for the business, moving forward to new areas and eras, to become one of the region’s most successful travel, transports and logistics organizations. Hence, the “old” DAS EXPRESS has paved the way to an even bigger new-born office named AIRLINK LEBANON.

STAFF

Staff is the most valuable asset in any institution or company. Without its devotion, conscience and professional skills, no economic success can be guaranteed.

AIRLINK LEBANON has been supported by an experienced, respectful and dedicated multilingual team whose major concern is the company’s welfare and progress.

Tasks are divided among people who handle operations and customers’ services at the office, and employees in charge of sales and clearances at the port and airport of Beirut.

Regular personnel meetings are held to safeguard a sustainable follow-up.
